On 1 January 2014, our swimming pool started loosing water. I logged a call with Absa, claim Nr: 2513519. On 7 January 2014 an accessor came to access the damage to the pool and assured us that he will report back to Absa asap. On 20 January 2014 I tried to contact Absa insurance to find out why they haven't reported back on whether they will repair the swimming pool or not, and was told that there isn't anybody available, but I can leave a message and somebody will contact me regarding the claim. I left my contact details, but never received that call back. On 22 January 2014, I contacted the Absa Complaints/Complimants line: 0800414141. I complained about the bad service, and received an e-mail to confirm that the complaint has been logged, Complaint nr: 2653253. On 27 January 2014 a friend referred me to a person named Murray Croucamp at (011) 846-9517 to querry why the complaints dept haven't come back to me yet. I have spoken to Murray, and he assured me that someone will contact me with details on the claim, but yet again, I haven't received any feedback. In the meantime the swimming pool is just lying, and deteriorating by the day.
