On the 30th of December 2013 I was hit by a stone and my car windscreen shattered. I phoned Miway insurance and was sent from pillar to post by the callcentre. They told me to press certain numbers to get to the claims department. After holding on for 25 minutes listening to stupid messages not relevant to my problem, I was sent back to the first caller. He sent me back to the claims dept queue again and went through the same process. Eventually, a voice message told me that the claims department is closed for holidays and will open on the 6th of January which is today. I then sent an email to [Email Removed] with the claim request and has never heard of them since.
I phoned again this morning and could not go through listening to adverts and thus increasing my telephone bill again. eventually I spoke to an agent who told me that he can put me through as he does not work for claims dept. He told me that the claims dept never closed for holidays which I find hard to believe. he told me to that the email I sent will be forwarded to the claims dept, whether I will get an answer in hours, days, weeks or months remains to be seen.
I will not recommend miway to any of my friends!!
