This is not merely a complaint, but also a warning to other customers of any bank. On Friday a fair amount of money was debited out of my account by a company named "Xfinity".. Very odd as I have never heard of them or granted any permission to debit out my account. The reference will be under the name of "XFILOYA"..
I immediately phoned Standard bank to alert them of this, where I was told I had to wait 7 working days just to get their detail at a charge to me.??? Unimpressed and angry I made a few more calls to other departments in Standard bank, where I got details of the debit including contact details for "Xfinity".. Doing your job for you.!!!
I have phoned them a few times where there has been empty promises to reverse the debit.. I have yet again been promised that it will be back in my account this evening, if it is not I would appreciate it if my bank can sort this out...
