I am posting this in the hope of getting this issue resolved amicably.
I am claiming 3rd party damage from MIWAY as my neighbour (MIWAY client) reversed into my stationary vehicle. There is no question of blame as there were witnesses as well. I have followed all processes outlined by MIWAY. MIWAY legal department then offered significantly lower amount than the quotes provided by the other VW approved panelbeaters which MIWAY requested that I obtain. I took my car to the panelbeater on MIWAYs offer letter and even they quoted me a higher price than what MIWAY had on their offer for the same repairs and also advised that they cannot see damage inside until they start stripping vehicle.
I advised MIWAY who said that their offer remains unchanged as they can source the parts cheaper than what the panelbeater quoted even though this was not the only difference in price.
MIWAY is offering an amount lower than what is required to have my vehicle repaired to VW approved standards which negatively impacts me.
Can MIWAY kindly advise on the way forward...
