Flew EMIRATES two weeks ago, BIDAir check in and boarding was surprisingly pleasant and efficient. And yes, priority boarding was excellent. But I knew it would not last! And it did not! Yesterday afternoon, check in was the 'usual' unpleasant BIDAir grump (business class counter, no less!), no priority boarding as such. Boarding just 'started' (no real announcement), and when the boarding area was full of passengers (which was basically the walkway to the plane) and a wait of around 20 minutes to get onto the plane, a BIDAir staff then called for 'priority boarding' near the entrance to the walkway to the plane. But as the GM of BIDAir told me before, he notes my comments but focusses on more important issues. Like airlines without passengers, maybe?
