On Thursday 14/02/2013 I took the 20:35 Bus from Midrand to Durban. We stopped at Park Station for more passengers. While waiting for there i started noticing cockroaches by the dozens. There were more than a few complaints and the hostess said she tried to arrange for another bus from the depot but none were available. So the solution was to make the trip in the cockroach infested vehicle with the inside lights on all the way. This did not help.
It was disgusting. They were coming out of every crack. Does Greyhound not fumigate and clean their vehicles? Is this the standard that this world wide well known brand is setting these days? Its appalling and disgusting. I definately will not travel with them in the future and am regretting that i bought a return ticket when i booked in the week. I will also never again recommend anyone to travel with them at all.
I will never get over that staff are subjected to these kind of work conditions or the fact that paying passengers had to spend Valentines Day with roaches.
GREYHOUND HAVE DROPPED THE BALL.
