On arrival at Firgrove station in Helderberg, Somerset West, Cape Town this morning (20 January 2014), I was picking up my domestic at 9am from the station, as I got there a city to city bus was parked on the side of the road, no vehicles were able to pass. Was acknowledged by the bus driver, only for him to wave his hand, indicating for me to reverse. The road is extremely narrow, with bends, and one is not able to turn around there. Stood there a while for him to finally get out of the bus, thinking I was a joke and making comments about me to people walking by. I informed him that he can't park there, only to get snide remarks and comments in return. Registration of the bus ZDP 095 GP. When asked what his name was, his reply "My name is Name". Very disappointed and not at all impressed as to how the situation was handled. Very poor standard of such a high regarded bus company.
