I have a membership with The Holiday Club which is of no use to me as i am now retired and i cannot afford their exorbitant rates. I have called them to have the membership transferred to my daughter. I was told there is a ridiculous fee to get this transferred. Then i asked them to cancel it, i was told i cannot cancel it. To top this off, they literally force you into signing up before you can even read their agreement. And when you ask them to sell the points for you, they cannot assist. Then i am told if i dont pay they will attach my goods, and that this passes onto my next of kin. How does this affect my next of kin when they did not sign for this or have anything to do with me signing up? If anything they are just a rip off to gullible people who think they are actually saving when they are actually tying themself and their kids and then their gran kids and the following generation to an expense which has no end.
