DO NOT USE TRANSLUX!!!

I recently booked a ticket for 9 January, from Pretoria to Bellville. As the bus pulled up at the station, I noticed that it was in a terrible state. It had numerous dents and scratches, and the paint had literally peeled off. They had no form of entertainment on the bus, they claimed that their DVD player and radio was out of order. At about 20:00 the guy in front of me reclined his seat, to get some sleep. So I did the same, as I barely had any space for myself. 5 min later the hostess/host told me that I must raise my seat, as the lady behind me did not have any space. I raised the matter that I also do not have space, due to the seat of the person in front of me. He just ignored me. So for more than 10 hours I had to sit up straight, with no sleep. To top it all off, the bus was scheduled to arrive at 08:30 at Bellville. It was more than 2 hours late, as it only got there at 11:00. I enquired about it, and no one could give me an answer.

Is it not their responsibility to maintain their equipment? Is the job of the host/hostess not to make sure that passengers are happy? And why didn't anyone make an announcement to inform the passengers or explain why the bus was late?
