Emirates charged by accident the adult fee for my 6 year old son's flight ticket. Mentioning this mistake to them they refused to refund the excess amount for the reason that payment has already been processed and closed.
I understand that an Emirates employee at the Cape Town office can make a mistake and won't be able to correct her own mistake. However, the company and the management should be able to override the inflexibility of their system and correct the mistake of their employee.
Actually it is incredible what they did knowing that my son is only 6 years old. In their system the child's fare is saved and still they refuse to do a refund.
