On Monday 2 Sep 2013 we booked a room at Villa Azure, Camps Bay from 24 Dec 2013 to 1 Jan 2014. The booking was done on the Villa Azure website which uses nightsbridge website to confirm availability and make the booking. We booked the exclusive room Baia, Del/Sol and La mer for R1675 per night. We assumed that all was in order. Later that day we received a call from Roberta of TLC Management services. He stated that they had just taken over the management and that there was double booking. He stated that he would sort us out and that we shouldn't worry!!! We decided not to look at other available options. On Thursday 5 September we received confirmation by email that the Soleil room had been booked for R1650. The Soleil room was a downgrade from what we had booked so we responded immediately requesting why it had been downgraded and requesting surely we should be charged the rate applicable to the soleil room which was R1380 per night at the time we booked. This morning, 6 Sep 2013, I received a call from Roberta confirming that because we had queried the rate he had sold the room for R2450. I find it absolutely disgusting and unacceptable to conduct business this way.
