As a frequent flyer on SAA with a listed profile, one would think care is given to specified dietary requirements. I was once again for the third time left to settle for 3 packs of crackers as suppose to a full meal that i had paid for. My lactose free meals are always confirmed by the cabin crew on board and despite the numerous stickers clearly indicating my dietary requirement, i am always served unlabelled butter (that no one can confirm, salad dressing clearly indicating the presence of dairy and i am expected to trust SAA with my life with the full meal being lactose free. On inquiry with the cabin crew i always get the same unpleasant attitude and the same response "Sorry Ma'am we dont pack the food and theres nothing we can do"! On this third occasion with a business class upgrade, i had a cabin crew member by the name Mongise Mbaloyi yell at me and basically make it clear to me that it was my responsibility as a client to ensure that my dietary requirements were packed???!!! He belittled me further by reminding that my presence in business class was an upgrade and that perhaps i should return to economy. With or without an upgrade id prefer to land alive and hungry
