Putco gives new meaning to the phrase "If you don't like my driving, stay off the pavement"
My son and I were taking our usual morning walk along Atterbury Road opposite Mooikloof Estate this morning. Atterbury is a single tarred road with no tarred shoulder, only a wide gravel/dirt area next to the road, which is where we were walking. Just past the entrance to Mooikloof Estate, Atterbury Road becomes a dirt road and the Putco busses do not travel there, so they make an illegal U-turn just past the entrance to Mooikloof Estate.
The bus came off the road, passed us on the INSIDE (i.e. we were between the bus and the road) and promptly turned in front of us, almost hitting us as it made it's illegal U-turn. The driver stopped the bus on the opposite side of the road to offload passengers. I stormed across the road, intending to pull the driver out of his bus and BEAT a driving lesson into him, but the little chicken-hearted ignoramus took fright and drove off.
Driver, BEWARE, tomorrow I WILL BE ARMED!!! (And it WILL go down as self-defence!!)
