First of all would like to thank QVC for not informing me about the renovation taking place at Sudwala Lodge, sine the booking was already made in the month of May 2013.
On arrival 2nd August 2013 we had to discover that the lodge is not fully functional, due to major renovations. I was informed that the restaurant has been closed as well as other important services. From where we stayed we had to face a construction site and equipment.
When enquired about self-catering I was directed to a small shop at the garage which sells the minimum consumables and after contacting the hotel at the caves I was informed that they do not have enough fresh products to sell.
When I discussed the issue at reception I was informed that all shareholders were informed about the renovations and I would have thought that QVC will inform their MEMBERS, this obviously did not happen, in which case I would have had the opportunity to select another resort.
I have attached some pictures taken of the unit's inside to show what is the condition of these units and the construction works.
Your urgent response is required to provide a plan of action to compensate me for this fiasco.
