We booked a holiday with avoca travels six months in advance.we saw adverts on facebook that looked impressive and reasonable. the initial hotel advertised were changed . later we found out that all hotels were booked by avoca were out of the city, causing us extra expenses for travelling. in some cases we had to use two, or three modes of transport to get to our destination. the cost that we incurred equals other agents prices.. avoca made money out of us by booking hotels out of town, saving them money, but charging us more. Do not fall for good looking adverts, remember the travel agent makes more money from hotels booked out of the city and they do not disclose prices paid for hotels and discounts they receive from these hotels are not passed on to customers
