EXPENSIVE TRAVEL IN BAD CONDITIONS & SERVICE

I booked a Greyhound to JHB from DBN and was told to arrive for check in half an hour early. I arrived at the DBN Station as advised for check in to only begin at 21h57. The bus left later than the scheduled 22h00, we left DBN Station at 22h21. The seat I was allocated was situated at the bottom level of the double Decker bus, against the coffee station with a leaking hot tap. I was awake all night in the fear of having my face burned, because it was that close to me. Arrival time in JHB was of course not the indicated 05h00 am but 05h56. An inconvenience was caused for not only myself as a paying passenger, but the people waiting at Park Station for me. No apologies were made by the cabin attendant with an "I don't care attitude". My faith remained, "it was just a minor hick up" I reassured myself" but not much changed in my return ride. Again, departure was scheduled for 22:00, I arrived at 21:30 only to spend 20 min waiting in a queue for check in. We left JHB at 22h42. When I called in to make this particular booking, I wanted to choose a seat. I was told 17C was the last available so I took it. THE BUS WAS EMPTY. IS THIS WHAT WE PAY SO MUCH MONEY FOR?
