To wrap up my ordeal with Flexiclub: I put them on "hallo Peter" last year to try and get my shares paid out as they had promised when we bought them. They breached our agreement and said I had to sell them. On this site they promised they would sell them for me and then sent me an email and offered me R1 per share. The going rate at the time was R11 per share. As you can imagine, this was not acceptable. We then said we would like to close our membership with Flexiclub so that they would stop deducting R3500 from our account annually. They informed us that we could not terminate our membership.
THE RESULT: We had to close our FNB bank account.
THE TOTAL LOSS: R14 000 plus all the R3500 deductions taken off annually while we've been living in New Zealand.
I'd strongly suggest that you don't join them if you're thinking of doing so.
