Shocking customer services and billings

Cell C is the worst cellular network I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. After countless failed attempts to change my banking details with them as my bank account has changed, and having several failed debit orders - I have been paying my full account balance for my 2 cellular contracts by EFT every month. Today I get a call from them saying my contract has not been paid for 5 months and it has now been cancelled? I need to pay the last 5 months outstanding fees as well as over R5000 to settle the contract. Why? I have been paying every single month the full amount without fail. I explained this to the customer services representative, he claims the accounts are not linked and my 2nd contract has a R600 credit - which I have checked, not true - no credit. This is also the first time Cell C has bothered to contact me - they have all my details - work number, 2 cell numbers and my email address - no other contact attempts, no calls, no SMS, no emails. And apparently this is irreversible, the contract is cancelled a nd I must pay - end of story? Absolutely shocking.
