Unsubscribing to VAS

I have accidentally subscribed to the sms weather service on the Cell C mobi site during September 2012 at a cost of R5/week. On the same day, I sent the "STOP" sms instruction to the applicable number (14788). The weekly billing continued up to now despite various posts on Cell C's Facebook page, emails to Cell C, telephonic discussions with Cell C Call Centre and a number of "STOP" sms instructions.
