I took out a data wifi contract with 8ta before which I checked at the Sandton City Branch that there was coverage in my area, which is Sandown... literally down the road. Well, it turned out that there was not sufficient coverage. I returned the wifi equipment and advised them to cancel my contract. I also advised them that I was not prepared to pay a cancellation fee since clearly 8ta is over advertising its coverage. Needless to say I have heard nothing but I have received a monthly account! This is the second time I have complained on this website regarding the poor and unprofessional service from the 8ta Sandton City branch. I would like someone from head office to address this problem and resolve it. I will be stopping my debit order as I cannot trust 8ta to do their part. I have all the documentation plus proof that the wifi unit was returned. Perhaps the management at the Sandton City branch needs to be re-evaluated.
