Good Day
I was retrenched in October 2012 and informed Cell-C on numerous occassions and also forwarded my retrenchement letter to the claims department in January 2013.
I received numerous of phone calls telling me that I need to make an effort and have money in my bank accout to pay for this account, how am I suppose to do this if there is no money coming in.
Last month I received another call from the call centre and the person I spoke to said that they need prrof for anout 2 - 3 months that there is no money in my bank account and then they can send my query to the claims department.
The thing is they keep taking off different amounts every month and when there has been no funds so my bank account goes into arrears. I eventually decided to go to the bank and stop the debit order.
I received a phone call today asking me why I cancelled the debit order as they could have submitted my claim to the insurance and see what they can do, but only after the effect now they willing to help.
I am going to see if I can re-instate the debit order and make payments, but this is all so unneccessary and makes me so angry.
