I went to the Vodacom center in Mimosa Mall Bloemfontein, to find out about recieving sms's while traveling to New Zealand. I was told because I was on pre-Paid that roaming was already activated, and that I dont have to worry about anything.
I then later went to the Vodacom 4U shop at Preller Walk just to comfirm that everything was in order.
I was told the same thing, that roaming is active by default because I was on pre-paid.
If been in New Zealand for two days now and I cant connect to any network.
All I want is to recieve sms's.
I would like to know why it was clearly stated to me that I dont have to worry because I was on pre-paid and international roaming was activated by default. And what can I do to activate it from this side.
