I have no Vodacom reception at my home office in Sunningdale/Glenhazel in Johannesburg. I also have no 3G reception. Vodacom investigated, sent a man round who confirmed the above. I was told that they were forced to shut down their antenna as a person claimed it was causing cancer.
So I am trying to operate a business and I spend over R2000 a month with Vodacom for no service.
I am not sure what to do next as my Telkom ADSL with MWeb as the ISP is supposed to delivering 4mb per second, but I am only getting 2 around midnight and 1 mb during the day.
So I am spending over R4000 a month in total - I would be out of business but for my Telkom landline and ADSL connection. Clients call me on my Vodacom number but then I have to phone them back because Ithey can't hear me.
I am now at my wits end and will have to focus on going to clients' offices to work - this is exactly one of the reasons why most SME's in this country are being strangled. It is not the government that is to blame.
