Nashua Mobile
Telemarketers' Manners

To whom it may concern,

My complaint is general, although Nashua Mobile is on the receiving end as the latest offender.

I understand that telemarketing is one of the most thankless jobs around and that the marketer is also only trying to generate an income for themselves and their families. For this reason, as well as basic good manners, I make a point of never being impolite, cursing, or putting the phone down when I hear that it's just another telemarketer, as they are also just doing their jobs.

What I can't stand though, is the overly friendly attitude that disappears the moment you decline interest in the product: not a thank you for your time, goodbye or anything, just a phone rudely put down in your ear.

After that, does Nashua Mobile (or any Telemarketing supplier) truly think that I will ever consider them when I am in the market for the product they are selling? Politeness is not just a tool with which to sell a product. The image a company portrays should be consistent. If telemarketers have no manners, I view the company as unprofessional and not geared towards customer satisfaction or quality service.

Regards,
Danelle Cresswell
