DSL telephone line went dead 18/12/13. After reporting on website Telkom arrived on 20/12/13 to repair. A week later the line was dead again. Tried to report on website, wouldn't accept the fault. Tried the SMS service. The system would not accept the fault report because the previous report was not removed yet. Tried phoning the 10210 fault reporting number. Waited for up to an hour with no one taking the call.By now my frustration was over the top. I eventually went into the Telkom office at Benoni Lakeside Mall to report via their phone reporting system. Spoke to the customer consultant who reported my phone and promised to send a technician. Nothing. Went to their office again for a second time to report the fault. The consultant said the technician came out the previous Sunday with nobody home. REALLY? ON A SUNDAY? We were home the whole day. Nobody came. The consultant promised to mark it urgent now. This is a week ago. THIS IS PROBABLY THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD FROM TELKOM. WHAT ON EARTH SHOULD I DO NOW???
