Long story short I have a contract which includes 120 minutes anytime, 100 sms, 500mb data which should amount to around R550 a month.
Astounded that I never managed to keep the contract amount at the end of the month below R850 (sometimes well clear of a R1000), I contacted vodacom to activate an additional 1G bundle rolling month to month.
I was then informed by customer care that i don't even have a standard 500mb on the account month to month. I went in to menlyn customer care in March, who informed me the THAT information was incorrect, and then I requested the 1G activation as a bolt on.
Here is the problem - -on both occations this was only activated as a once off, never month to month as requested, leaving me with the premium data charges.
Question: Am I responsible for these costs? I requested twice for additional data bundles to be activated. These phone calls are recorded by vodacom. Every time I call I get a different story about whats happening on the account.
Don't really care anymore. May 2014 i will terminate this contract as I just cant be bothered anymore. If I had the option to cancel it immediately, i would.
