Unacceptable Service Delivery

Reported a noisy telephone line to Telkom at the beginning of the month and am now sitting with a completely dead telephone line after what is now heading into the 4th week of no service from Telkom. Along with the telephone line being dead is an unbearably slow internet connection that cuts out for no apparent reason sometimes for a couple of hours at a time. MWEB with whom we have our internet service has told us that it is Telkom whose line is causing the problem. When the technician did arrive he arrived on a Sunday and he told us the fault was a few houses down but when he went to check the people where not home and we had to go another day without a working telephone line. After being told by the technician that he will be coming on this day and then waiting just for no one to arrive more than once is getting rather annoying. Considering that our account is always paid this is completely ridiculously disgusting service from Telkom.
