We have been having an ongoing issue with our landline at home since December last year. After a storm or slight rain the landine goes off. At times we able to receive calls, however the line crackles and we unable to dial out. Several calls were logged with Telkom. A technician did come out to have a look at once and the problem seemed to have been resolved then. Its now been dead since last week. A call was logged on Tuesday14.01.2014 last week, we received an SMS with a reference no, 485CTZ140114. I did call the Call Centre yesterday morning 20.01.2014 to find out whats going on. I was told that the call would be escalated and a technician will be out ASAP. No one seems to understand the urgency in this matter since our home security is linked to the land line. Would it at all be possible for you to get someone to attend to this ASAP. Thank you.
