Attitude towards customers and WASP

I unfortunately was hit by one of these WASP, Smartcall Technology Solutions, who apparently are notorious for basically charging you for services you never agreed to nor requested. Even though this is widespread and well known, the cellular companies just allow it to continue.

I received an sms stating I was registered for a "flirtopia" and was to be charged a rate etc, naturally I was confused since I hadn't smsed or contacted any services whatsoever. Expecting some sort of I contacted Cell C, the 1st consultant didn't seem to understand my concerns so I attempted a 2nd call and spoke to another consultant who offered to check my account and informed me that there were no subscriptions of any sort.

Month end comes I'm charged a higher then normal amount since I never use up my monthly minutes etc. I check my itemised billing and see some unusual charges. I check my later records and see that for every day of December 2013 I'm being charged this amount. Even though my records show no phone calls or smses were sent to any entity at the time of these charges starting.

Now I contact the centre again and am told I must contact this STS group to get a refund!!!???
