On the 18th of November I cancelled my account for telephone number 0217828679. Someone was supposed to phone me back and confirm. On 18th December I phoned again and they assured me it would be cut off and I would not be billed for the next month. The account was not cut off properly for a number of days and I had to call again and again. An IT error they said. Today I find out that I have been billed for January even though the account has been cancelled. I have told the bank to cancel the debit order and demand a repayment but don't know how long it will take. And of course you cannot go into the shop at Longbeach Mall here in Noordhoek and fix it because the staff have to phone the call centre anyway and wait like a member of the public for hours until they get served. So how am I to get one month's R399 back??? I cancelled my telephone line because I HATE Telkom and would rather go without a phone than have them back in my house. I want my money back NOW!
