I recently received my Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 as part of a data contract with TM/8Ta (only after having made a noise about stock unavailability issues) and was extremely disappointed to find out later that I am unable to stream DSTV over the Telkom Mobile/8Ta network, although it would be totally possible should I have (rather) signed the contract with either Vodacom or MTN, according to feedback I received from DSTV following an enquiry about the issue.
TM was so-called voted the best fixed- and mobile broadband in SA... why then am I unable to stream DSTV on my tablet over the TM network?
Please make prospective clients aware of this shortcoming BEFORE they sign a contract with you!!!
Unfortunately, my attempts to get answers from TM or have TM address the issue via other mediums, have failed!
