I renewed my cellphone contract on the Mtn direct facility on the 9th of December expecting my new handset to arrive within 2-3 days. However when following up with MTN direct the following week, the cellphone was not dispatched. I could not go into a store and pick up the a new handset as the order was still in effect. After trying to get the order cancelled thru 5 call center agents in Johannesburg namely, Nick, Nadine, Ernest, Leroy and his supervisor i was given a promise i would get a call back, none of whom called back. I then resorted to going into a MTN store and asked one of the service agents to call mtn direct to get the order cancelled. He too was told he would get a call back with no update. Its the 18th December with no handset and the order has not been cancelled as the original service consultant Matsualedi is on leave. I do not even have the option of going instore as MTN's policy is not to issue a handset with an order in effect. All i want is the order to be cancelled so that i can go in-store.
