After a shock bill stating that my data usage is far over the available bundle (something that has never happened before, and no way it can be explained), I went searching for an option to cap data usage.
Except, MTN do not supply such an option, the answer always being "Self monitor online". So if a rogue application goes and kills your data in a few minutes, you are. MTN will happily charge you, but that's all they are interested in.
