Each an every time I call the MTN help number 808, I get cut off or I get told that the systems are down and I will get called back. I emailed through numerous requests to not have anybody contact me to follow through. I called the above number to cancel a contract of mine but I was told that I will definitely be called back as I could not be helped at that moment due to the systems being down. I never received the call.
Because of all the hassle I finally got down to the MTN store. The lady who assisted me was very kind and did a fantastic job with upgrading my contract, however, when I got home to put on the laptop that I just received, it asked me for a password and the username being "rtyio". How do I use a laptop with no password? This laptop is meant to be setup so that I enter my information and then set it up according to how I want it. I called 808 and was put through to technical support and got disconnected 5 times.
This is unacceptable, service delivery is pathetic from MTN and secondly, how could you ever sell a laptop to a client that is not correctly configured???
I have always had issues when I've had to deal with anyone from MTN.
Provide the service we pay for!
