No Security and bad service

I applied for an upgrade with Nashua Mobile North Cape Mall, Kimberley. Took a week to get everything sorted, but that is a whole other story. Along with the upgrade, I also requested a simswop, as my old phone was. Went to collect my phone and new sim card yesterday, and was totally shocked by what happened next. I simply walked into the shop and gave them my name. They handed me the phone and simcard, did the simswop and let me leave - without any identification, no security checks, I didn't even have to sign for anything! My question is this - they do not know me personally, how can they just accept that I am who I claimed to be? How can they just hand over a phone and do a simswop without verification? Will NOT be doing another upgrade with them if this is how they do business.
