No feedback and shocking service from management

On 16th October I fetched an iPad Mini on contract from Fourways Mall. The sim card did not fit the device, so the next day I took it back whereby the consultant confirmed it was the wrong size and did a sim swop, told me to wait for 4 hours and try again. Same story, no connection & so another trip to this branch. I left the device & sim card with the consultant and that was the last time I had the device. On follow up a week later I called client services to be told that the out of box failure was rejected, that I had cut the sim card & damaged the unit!! So in other words, for 2 years I'm expected to pay for a device that I was never able to switch on, but its MY fault? I had this device for a total of 2 days, took it to this store where it has been for the past 6 plus weeks. Calls to the manager Portia, were unsuccessful, when I did reach her last Wed, retold my story for the 5th time - she told me she would follow up. I requested this be dealt with at management level and she agreed to call with feedback following day. Five days later and not a word from Portia, I call the store today, and am told she is on leave. I refuse to pay for this device & am disugusted at this service.
