Booked my Sony Experia GO in for the charger cover that hangs on a piece of plastic in for it to be replaced due to the fact that it came of. I was then contacted by the service provider to tell me that Sony said it was accidental damage and the repairs would be R1650.00 and it was my fault.
A few days prior to taking the phone in I went and spoke to a Sony Representative at the local service provider store and actually told me that it is a common problem and they have actually stop making there covers for the charger and USB to that standard because of the amount of problems they have had with the device.
For such a big company not to own up to the users amazes me. There representatives are aware of the problem but they will never pass it on to the consumer.
I actually purchased the phone for the reason of it being waterproof and dust resistant.
