On the 15th of November i went into the istore in Fourways to get the new iPhone 5s. I decided to do a new contract with Mtn as their deals were really good. I spoke to a consultant by the name of Khomotso who was very knowledgable and helpful when it came to applying for the contract. The contract i took was the Minute 100, where i was supposed to receive 100 minutes, 100 sms's and 300mb of data per month. However i did not receive any data or sms's. I then contacted 808, Mtn contact centre, and told them about the problem. Since then everyday i have phoned them and told them i have not received data or sms's and they keep responding with the answer "it will be activated within 2 - 24 hours". Everyday i get told this and everyday i get false promises.
I asked the agent over the phone if she could phone/email me back as to what was happening and she said she would, but I have received no means of communication other than them (Mtn) trying to sell me insurance over the phone, which might have considered.
I dont understand how they can keep making these 'promises' when they do not seem to be doing anything about it. I don't understand why i am not getting what i am paying for.
