Cell C
Thanks for Nothing!

I was due for an upgrade and wanted the Huawei Ascend P6. I went into the Cell C branch in Greenstone, wanting the R219 /month contract. I then told them that Vodacom is offering basically the same contract and phone for R189/month (and showed him the advert). Believing that they could simply offer me the same price in order to keep me as a customer, the gentleman behind the counter (with a chipped tooth) simply shrugged his shoulders and after staring blankly at me for some time asked the manageress something, who then responded rudely with an indignant "no".

All this leaves a bitter taste.

Thanks for taking my money ( -R12, 000 over 24 months) and providing poor reception, unknowledgeable and indignant staff, and an overall feeling of exploitation.

Needless to say, my Cell C contract has now been cancelled.
