I have a standing debit order for a 2MB uncapped ADSL with Axxess which is R295pm. They are currently running a summer promotion where the rates across the board (different speed lines) are discounted. However when I received my bill I noticed that they upgraded me to a 4MB and charged me the same price instead of the discounted rate. I only have a 2MB line from Telkom so 4MB/s is completely useless to me. I complained via email only to receive a response that says the promo started on the 28th so I had plenty of time to change. Surely a service provider cant take it upon themselves to assume what a consumer needs? I find this behavior unethical and frankly I dont wish to use a service provider that behaves like this! Mweb here I come...
