Tired of the rubbish service provided by MTN & Vodacom, I decided to change over to Cell C with their very affordable rates and friendly customer service. I have come to regret this decision.
Prior to signing my contract I enquired around the network availability of Cell C and its performance in relation to other networks, I was assured by the in store Cell C constant that network is perfect and I have nothing to worry about, he was either miss informed or just lying to my face.
After a week with Cell C I realised I had made a mistake, every single call I made would drop a number of times during the call, creating huge frustration. The data network is so sporadic that 90% of the time my phone can't connect, even though I would have full signal and 3G.
Contacting the Cell C call centre I was met by a friendly consultant who informed me that upgrades are being done on the network and hence the reason for the poor quality of service, when asked how long the upgrades would take, he couldn't give me an answer. In sort I was told to wait indefinitely for things to get better.
5 Months later still experiencing the same problems... Cell C do you have a solution for me?
