I phoned 8ta a number of times in the 2 - 3 months preceding the termination of my contract to ensure that they knew I would be terminating my contract following a reasonable two year period. On the day the contract expired, I took up a cell contract with another supplier and ported my number across. Since then, 8ta deduct money from my account every month. I opened a complaint at the 8ta store in the Pavilion on the 8th July (case number 6389871), and then, hearing nothing, went back there again in Aug. On both occasions I was told that the technicians were checking my call record. Still nothing by the 22nd Aug, when I called 8ta, and the response was the same. Still my account is being deducted. I am livid with 8ta now, and my whole pleasant two year experience is being soured by poor performance in the accounting department.
