I wanted to move to another network provider as a Nashua Mobile client. I gave notice of this intention on 25 June 2013. I was informed that I had to wait until the end of July for their "systems" to process this request. This sounded strange enough.
On 25 July my contract was cancelled and I went over to prepaid. I phoned and their system still reflected me as a contract customer. As a good client, I waited patiently until 31 July 2013. Please note that it is more than a month. I filled in the form for the new provider and was informed that I will received my phone the next day, but that the port will only happen 3 working days later. The new handset requires a different sim card, so when I enquired about that, I was informed that I needed to do a sim swap on the old network (at a cost, naturally).
The next day (the day on which I should have received the phone) I was informed that the handset was not delivered. On the call centre line, the staff member accused other people and eventually myself for expecting to receive the phone "so soon".
I can honestly say that I will NEVER do business with them again.
