Bad service or should rather say no service

My credit card expired and my MTNSP account was not paid which is fine, I can understand that being a problem. But my issue is that there was no warning or remotely any notices given and my connection was abruptly severed. I paid the outstanding amount immediately and now 24 hours later I have still not been reconnected. When I initially contacted the MTNSP's help desk they took 40 minutes to put me through to an operator. The last time I tried to get help I eventually put the phone down after an hour. This is absolutely unacceptable, they are very prudent in spamming you with all their advertising and worthless info nonsenses but cannot perform the courtesy of informing a person when they are about to cut you off. Sending MTN a complaint via the website, you will be very lucky to get a response within a week and then it's normally "thank you for your response, we'll attent to your problem" and then nothing ever happens. I previously had an issue trying to determine how much bandwidth I had left on my data bundel, the website doesn't work and even less the MTN connection application that runs on the PC. Up to date the issue has not been resolved and will probably never be.
