Poor service, worse feedback, and contract breach

Altech Autopage Cellular:

I handed my phone in to branch on Sunday 21st July 13, after having had an accident which resulted in the screen being broken. I enquired on turnaround time, and was told it would take ten days to get a quote. I had the contract since April 13, taken out slong with insurance cover, with signed documentation as proof. When contacting the branch on 31 July 13 to gain feedback on the status of my phone, i was told that the phone had not been sent for repairs as yet, and that at present it would also not be possible to estimate a turnatround time for a quote or repairs.

I was also told that i had no insurance on the phone, at which point i was of course very surprised, having signed for insurance, and made sufficient funds available to pay the insurance along with the monthly bill, every single month. I was then also informed that historically it had taken 6 to 8 weeks to resolve repiars on phones.

Why am I unable to get clear feedback on what is happening with the repair of the phone, why my contract reflects no insurance, when i signed for it as well as the debit order therefore.

Do i need to escalate the matter to get it resolved?? REALLY
