One month without telephone and fax line

Early in July the Faerie Glen area behind the Glen Fair Mall lost all telephone connections. According to the neighbours there was an underground line fault in the area. Slowly one line after the other was repaired except our line. We reported the fault on 12 July 2013 to no avail. The fault was once again reported on on 22 July 2013 and the following reference number for repairs was given to us (REF:1052CTZ220713) but nothing happened. It was once again reported on 23 Jul 2013. Once again nothing happened. I then drove to the service centre at Woodlands Boulevard and reported it in person over their in house phone. Once again nothing happened. My daughter - in -law then reported the fault from her house phone. Once again nothing! In desperation my wife also reported the the fault at the Menlyn service centre. Presently the phone is giving a high frequency crackling sound but it's still not working. We need the fax line urgently because most of my wife's work is done from home. At the end of the month I will of course receiive the Telkom bill for services not rendered.
