In May some time, I went to the Vodacom Data Store Branch in Cavendish Square and requested that my contract be ported to a prepaid account. I asked how long it would take and I got told up to 24 hours and the guy who helped me said I should come back when my contract expires on the 3rd of July. I went back yesterday (8/7/13) and asked again, will it take up to 24 hours to be ported over and got told yes by the same person. This morning (9/7/13), I got an SMS from Vodacom saying that it will only go onto a prepaid account on the 31/7/13.
I had asked twice whether it will be 24 hours and got told yes. 22 DAYS IS NOT 24 HOURS. I got told to wait over a month once before already, I am livid that I have to wait again because your staff cannot provide the proper information. Please inform your staff to provide the proper information to their clients in the near future.
