I took a 2 year contract with Cell on the 26 January 2007 over the phone when I was contacted by a telesales agent, the contract came with a free phone was to run for 24 months ending 26 January 2009. I ceased using the phone and the sim in 2009 as I knew the contract was over. I never receive any request for an upgrade or extention of contract yet they continued to bill me even after numerous calls I made to the call centre enquiring about this. In 2011 i intensified my enquiry only on the 11th January 2012 did an agent Ayanda tell me to send a cancellation e-mail. I insist on a Refund of the R145 per month charged since 26.01.2009 to 29.02.2012. THIS IS MORE THAN 37 MONTHS OF BEING BILLED FOR A SERVICE NOT PROVIDED. how many people suffer the same whilst Cell C is enriched and they get Fat salaries for the public!!! I need this investigated and I need a refund. They have also refused to provide me with a copy of my contract as they say I signed 1. Ref 20111700988
