I am very dissapointed - I changed from Networks to 8ta and I am very disgusted. On the 22nd of May I joined 8ta - got the R449 pm contract for the Galaxy S4. The shop assistant informed me that my account for May will be billed pro rata. On the 3rd of June I requested a bill - SURPRISE!! The contract is structured that R350 is for the device and R100 for the contract... and ONLY the R100 will be billed pro rata. Now I have to pay R350 for only using the phone a week in May as it was only activated on the 27th of May due to my number being ported. I phoned the store assistant and they don't understand why it's done like that - I am very disgusted as the staff is not properly informed of how the contracts work, no where on the adverts its states that it's R350 for the device and R100 for the contract. THIS IS FALSE ADVERTISING!! The t's and c's states nothing. I REGRET MOVING FROM MY PREVIOUS NETWORK. And if this is not sorted out I will report you to the Consumer Protection Tribunal!
