I bought a cell c sim with 2gig a month data. Paid up front for a years data that is not worth one cent. I complained about the unstable network in our area. Was informed that my one computer that is worth R12000 and only a few months old is not good enough. Months later I am still waiting for answers on exactly what specs a computer need for cell c. The funny thing is that mtn works like a dream in on that computer. Since end last year I am struggling with Cell C. Stopped to use the sim at my home where it is absolutely useless. Tried to get use of the data at work, but most days it take hours to do simple things like banking as the network keep on jumping between wdmca and edge. I reported this problem again on the 16th of May. Again on the 17th of May. But Sean at Cell C Klerksdorp is ignoring my request for help. At this stage you start a download at least 10 times before you succeed. Cell C get customers with nice promises and nice specials. But afterwards they do not worry if you could use the product or not. My year of 2 gig data is almost over and since day one I asked for them to sort out the problem. Vodacom will be my next data package, they at least sort out problems.
